thumbsup.gif I started re-reading "The 5,000 Year Leap" today. It's worth reminding myself of the principled men who founded this nation and its government. It is also good to have a measurement against which to judge the current facade called the Federal Government.

We're a long way from where we ought to be and we've been lead to this point by enemies of freedom and personal accountability. We've given up the principles of freedom for the security of a government handout but we fail to see the risks and the dangers.

I am a Tea Party Republican.

And I am a Sarah Palin Republican.

Because I am a Constitution Republican.

And I vote.

Rapidly escalating terrorism, WMD's and anti-semitism coupled with rapidly decreasing financial stability, and worldwide civility make a smoldering concoction of inevitable destruction.

Sorry Bob, but my vote's for Jesus soon return.

She is trying to survive and make a difference in this country gone sour on almost every value that made it desirable. She speaks up no matter who agrees and that is courage. I fear the constitution is in jeopardy under liberal leadership. I hope people wake up before election time and vote for what is right for America to get back on track.

I've listened to this crap all of my life, that whites are evil and were placed on the earth by the hell hounds of satan, blah, blah, blah, etc. horse crap. I am going to sue all of these minority groups and make them pay reparations for trying to make me have low self esteem because of the color of my skin. I don't care what color you are, roll up your sleeves, get a job and stop your whining. Get out of the cart and start helping to pull the darn thing, the gravy train is at the last stop, the money is gone, you calling me a racist is not going to change the truth.

That's great and everything Bob, but the fact remains that Sarah Palin is a quitter. You said so yourself.

We shouldn't support people because of who attacks them and who they are against. We should support them for what they stand for, and Ms. Palin stands for her own profit, and sound bites that would make good bumper stickers.

Palin has zero grasp of economics, energy policy, or foreign policy. Her domestic agenda is a joke.

We need better candidates than her if we want to take back the white house. Capitulating to mediocrity is not what we should be doing, and that's what you just did.

I’ve been a fan of Ms. Palin’s since she came on to the scene and have taken my share of crap for it too. I don’t think we’re alone. I honestly don’t think she’ll run for President, but I think she’s a pitch-perfect spokesperson for the Republican party and whoever she endorses will run over Obama like a tractor-trailer over a squirrel.

And if there isn’t one decent Republican who can compete against this train wreck we have now and she decides to run, I’ll vote for her - moose chili, high heels and all.

Weren't you the guy that called her a "flake and a quitter" in a column about a year ago?

Some of us have been Sarah Palin /tea party/pro-life/ conservatives the whole time. We always have been, since the day Sarah came on-scene. A few of us out here were not thrown by the abrupt departure from the governorship in Alaska, or her teenage daughter's pregnancy, or the writing-on-the hand thing like some Republicans were.

Let's face it: Some of those "character assassinating, immoral evil people" you are referring to have NOT been liberals.

It's some of these moderate Republicans, and not Sarah, who have been the quitters and flakes. And they are the ones we have to watch out for the most.

I admire Sara Palin, but there is a national effort, fronted by the electronic media, to destroy her. She hasn't a chance. The day after the vice pres. debate of 2008,one of your comrades on ch.13 news read outloud, during the 6 P.M. news, four extremely negative comments about Sara Palin.Nothing at all was said about Plugs Biden. When I e-mailed him my displeasure, his lame brain response about his producer being at fault was matched only by his fury at myself for presuming to question his political views. Yea, I support the Tea Party movement,but I'm not optimistic. Dark days are ahead.

When the big shots start getting hit in the cash flow somehow they find the right decision. Sad but true."

Okay people let's contact the KNRS advertisers. Don't just stop using their product, but send a letter, too, so they know exactly what the deal is.

Since I have been scanning the other talk station here I have discovered that many of the KNRS advertisers advertise on the other talk radio stations, as well, so the letter is essential.

Go to the "Bring Back Bob Lonsberry" site where a list of advertisers has been started. (Add any that that you know of that are not on the list.)

Keep up the spirit and lets get Bob and Lee back.

thumbsdown.gif I am a Conservative. The Republican Party has let me down way too often. The best we could get to run against So Insane Obama was John McCain. Sadly I think he is more representative of Republicans than any of us care to admit.

In Ontario County we have the lovely Brian Kolb who is a Republicrat. I can't even begin to count the number of RINO's there are in the Republican Party.

I admire Sara Palin. She has guts. She has common sense. And you are correct, the best the media could do was ask her if she had a boob job. The best the left can do is a Tina Fey SNL skit.

Nope, I'm a Conservative. And personally I support Duncan Hunter(the dad) from California for President. He is true to his Conservative roots. Sara would make a great running mate!

I would mock and ridicule ridiculous Rod Crouch from Toronto ( or is it Picton?) but it is just too easy and I need a challenge. But it is interesting to note that he has managed to, once again, make the issue all about him! It's an ego thing isn't it Rod?

I am not sure that I would support Sara for President either, if I had the chance, but I do think she would make an excellent replacement for that boob who is leader of the Republican party and keeps getting himself into trouble with his very large mouth.

The really interesting thing is how much the liberals fear Palin. Calling every Republican president a cowboy, or stupid or a war monger is old hat and we are used to that now. I have nothing but antipathy for every US senator. They are all self important blowhards who love the sound of their own voice. When senator Obama and his running mate senator Biden was running against senator McCain, having Palin in the mix was a breath of fresh air. But other than the fact that she isn't a senator, I don't know much about what she IS. She stands for apple pie and hockey moms whatever that means. Does she stand for a government that spends less of my money and leaves me alone? I do not know. As the token republican in the room, I was asked what I thought of Sarah Palin. I didn't know what to say. After all this time, I still don't know who she is. The only memorable things she has done is mess up her interview with Katie and quit her day job to get paid for giving speeches.

I would respect Palin more if she'd stop joking and hinting about running for the presidency in 2012. It makes me nervous. She's a wonderful spokesperson for the right, but that's it. No presidential material there.

I believe our Republican party is going to sell us out in 2012. They won't run anyone who can beat Obama. Want to bet it'll be another losing McCain/Palin ticket? I pray to God I'm wrong.

Of course the Tea Party is racist - anyone who is white is automatically a racist; anyone whether white or not who believes in the Constitution is a racist; anyone whether white or not who opposes not-my-president Obama and his Big Government is a racist; anyone who does not follow the talking points of the one-party media is a racist. I guess that makes me a racist, even though my family is a mixture of Mexican, Portuguese, Caribbean and who knows what else along the way.

It just makes life easier to avoid debating the issues and spend all their time attacking those who support our nation's founding principles. The one-party media journalists probably took shortcuts in school too, cheating on tests, partying instead of studying, and knowing that in our brave new world it doesn't matter what you know or don't know, just follow the party line and repeat what everyone else says.
